Keeping It Casual

 

If you follow me on Instagram you have seen this skirt a few times (sorry!!) but I thought I would show you how easy it is to dress it down. When I buy clothes I like to think of them as a piece I can wear time and time again in different ways.
 I wore this skirt to a wedding I went to at the weekend, and now I'm wearing it to work with my favourite camel silk shirt, and my H & M slides.

Lets just start with these amazing heels by pubic desire! To be honest I have never shopped there before but as soon as I saw these shoes I was a fan.

I have wrapped them around the bottom of my leg but they can go higher, I personally think they look more expensive round the ankle.

My skirt is topshop this will see me through A/W with knee high boots and a chunky knit.

I came straight from work  to shoot this look, so I am head to toe in Topshop (sorry).

 You have probably have seen this suede skirt on me a few times, it's such a good piece to have, it is also back in stores now so grab while you can.

And yes another off the shoulder top I just can't get enough. It's a size 12 from the tall section, so it is longer and more over sized.

These lace up sandals are doing me well this summer so far, I wear them most of the time, they go with every thing and are super comfortable.

Side Slit

I am all for a middy skirt especially with a side slit like this one, I have a wedding to go to in a few weeks and I am going to wear this dream. My vest top is Topshop boutique. I have this vest in every colour, they are so handy to have, they are made with cashmere so they sit a lot nicer and are semi sheer.

 I haven't taken this off top since I got it last week, It has to be one of my favourite purchase this year so far. I love off the shoulder tops they are so flattering on everyone.
Todays look is very laid back, the leather skirt is vintage I found it a few years back when I was in Amsterdam, we was lucky enough to stumble upon a vintage market. I have many leather skirts but this is the one I always come back to.

I have a few summer garden parties this year, seems when the sun comes out everyone books a party, I'm not complaining but I know it can be hard to find an outfit.
 You don't want to go too dressy as its a garden-est party, but then you don't want to go to casual as its still a party!!
So I thought why not do a post on the perfect summer garden party outfit and this my friends is it!!, this simple white flowy Miss Guided dress is perfect, its super summery with amazing sleeves looks great with heels and flats and if that doesn't sell you the price tag will...

I have purchased some great sale pieces this year so far! From my Mango bag to my kick flare jeans ( last weeks post) to this cute baby blue TopShop boutique top.

 

This top is very girlie, not the normal style I would go for but I love it. Being blonde I would normally steer clear of a colour like this, way to girlie!! BUT I found it in the sale for a steal of the price and it had to be mine.

 

I love the style, the high neck and the frill at the bottom, super cute. It's a classic piece I will wear again and again.

 

My shorts are of course my go to silk boutique shorts! Every summer I live in them. Topshop bring them out every year so keep you eyes peeled for them.

 

Obsessed with these lace up Kurt Geiger shoes they go with everything, as you all know I am a sucker for a lace up...

Suede Days

How cute is this H&M top?!? Its so simple and easy to wear with anything.

 Today I'm wearing my suede skirt which I got a few month ago, so glad I snapped this up when I did, the tan colour has sold out every where.(don't panic i have linked similar ones below)

 I know I have already posted these shoes but the are so comfortable and they go with pretty much everything. 

I'm obsessed with my new ring from Madeleine Issing I just love how minimal it is, If your into simple classic jewellery pieces head too her site...

Yes I'm wearing clogs!! I needed a new summer heel and these are just perfect. They also come is black but I think the tan is cooler and i love tan and blue jeans together.

My top is from Boohoo I have never shopped on there before but this top was a must have!! with the Chloe inspired lace up details to the price tag. I ordered it in a size 14 as I wanted it to look over sized.

My jeans are very old Topshop they have a new version which I can wait to get, they are called Dree, cropped with a flare (very 70's)

70's Chic

 How amazing it my new 70's style jacket?! As soon as i see it it had to be mine.
 This orangie rust colour is new for me as I always stick to my minimal wardrobe colours (black, white and grey).
Im obsessed with the 70's look at the moment but i still like to keep it chic. I have styled this jacket with an oversized tee, my Topshop boutique silk skirt and my new lace up sandals.
 Along with my 70's obsession, Chloe's spring/summer collection is also a favorite of mine so these Topshop lace up's are perfect.
